I was asked to be part of this awesome Secret Walls event in NYC. I would be joining an amazing line up of artist's who would team up in groups of 3. We were given our teams a couple of days before the battle and I got paired with the awesome Marthalicia and Turtle Caps. Both very amazing artist's whom I was honored to collab with. We got set up to do the final 5pm battle on Sunday May 17th and went up against some pretty tough competition. The rules are simple (90 minutes, 10x6 ft canvas, black and white paint only, no sketching, and the crowd chooses the winner at the end.) It was our very first battle with secret walls and as a team, so of course we were all nervous but in a good way! As the clock started, we went all in and let the paint spill. I have to say overall the experience was amazing and our chemistry was impeccable. We worked steady and finished strong. We ended up getting the crowds approval with a huge ROAR and WINNING! I have to say it is one of the best experiences i've ever had the fortune of doing. Hopefully many more battles to come in the near future! Much love and respect to everyone who came out.
